"Thank you very much for your software! I was experiencing quite a few glitches and my system was freezing so I thought I should check to see if everything was working as it should. I purchased Regservo and ran it. It told me I that I had 212 entries and then it automatically removed them. Thanks to your software, I now have a perfectly running system! Thanks again!"

How to Prevent PC Errors

December 5th, 2008 Geek Posted in Prevent PC Errors | 8,793 Comments »

It has happened to everyone, you’re working on a project on your computer and all of a sudden some random PC error window pops up wiping out everything you just finished. Preventing PC errors is something that everyone would like to be able to do but just don’t know how to do it or even where to begin to understand what could possibly be causing the error.

There are so many aspects to a computer and even more things that can go wrong. When you are using your computer it would be great being able to fix problems before they arise, and it should be one of the most important things any home computer owner should be prepared to do. One such area of the computer that can cause a lot of potential problems is the registry. The registry is essentially a big database that is used by a Windows based computer that stores all of the setting information for a computer. Whenever a computer starts, it goes through the registry to make sure it sets up the system the same way it was when it was turned off. The registry also stores all the information about all the programs installed on the computer.

The registry is a very complicated area of the computer and should not be fooled with unless you know exactly what you are doing in there. When editing entries in the registry you must be very careful because one misstep can cause Windows to fail or not to boot up at all. When it comes to preventing PC problems, the registry is a great place to start and there are programs out there that can clean, organize and fix the registry allowing the computer to boot up faster, run faster and have fewer errors when being used on a day-to-day basis. Registry errors are the most common cause to PC errors and being able to fix those entries can save you a lot of headaches.

One such program is called RegCure and it can automatically, and safely navigate the complicated structure of the registry to fix errors, bad keys and remove registry keys that are no longer needed. The program is designed specifically to fix errors and wrong entries in the registry. So if you are experiencing some random errors and want to be able to prevent those PC errors from coming back, go and get a free scan from RegCure.

The Blue Screen Of Death!

December 5th, 2008 Geek Posted in Blue Screen Of Death | 8,924 Comments »

The Blue Screen of Death, also known as the BSoD, has happened to almost every PC user out there. The error message appears when there is a serious critical error on the computer, causing everything to stop immediately and display a blue screen with white lettering on it. Normally, almost always, the error message that appears on this screen makes no sense whatsoever to a normal computer user other than the computer just crashed and a reboot is needed. This is where the ‘of Death’ part comes in because the only way to get a BSoD off the screen is to reboot the computer basically killing what you were doing.

The error code that appears is designed to show the root cause of the error that brought about the blue screen in the first place. As stated, to the average computer user, the code that appears may look like a bunch of random numbers and letters and make no sense whatsoever. To a trained professional it tells them where the problem originated and gives them a good idea where to look to resolve the issue. That is, when the code is actually correct and not a problem in and of itself. Many BSoD error messages do nothing more but cause confusion and don’t have anything to do with the problem, if there really was one in the first place. Sound confusing?

Confusing and BSoD go hand in hand and that is why it is so important to make sure your computer is running as well as it can be by doing a little prevention before the problem arises. In the computer is an area that can help prevent or cause a number of BSoD errors on your computer. That area of the computer is called the registry and a mistake in there can cause Blue Screens of Death to happen constantly. Regular cleaning, organizing and optimizing of the Windows registry are a great way to prevent them from happening.

One such program that does just that is called RegCure. This program will go through the registry and look for entries that are misplaced, mislabeled, wrong, out of date or just not needed anymore and fix or remove them. It can also optimize the layout of the registry for faster booting and program loading times. Having a registry that is organized, clean and problem free can go a long way to getting rid of those dreaded Blue Screens of Death once and for all.

What Is a BCCODE Error and How Do I Fix It?

December 5th, 2008 Geek Posted in BCCODE Error | 8,892 Comments »

There are many different types of errors that can happen on a computer and each type has a specific name and acronym to describe it. When a BCCode error message appears on your PC, it generally means that your operating system has come across an error that it feels is serious enough that your computer needs to be shut down at that moment.
BCCode is Microsoft’s short version for ‘Bug Check Code’ and is a message that you may see if your computer has been shut down because a potentially harmful or dangerous error happened and the system cannot function properly at that time due to a critical error. Most BCCode messages will be seen during that horrible blue screen error message, otherwise known as a Blue Screen of Death (BsoD) and can happen just about any time at all when using a computer.
There are many different types of BCCODE errors out there and it is the numbers that follow the error that tells the user where and what caused the problem to happen in the first place. There is no one fix for a BCCODE error since, as stated above, there are many different types of those error messages and each one may require a different solution to fix it properly.
Error messages on computers can start almost anywhere, from the hardware, the software you are using, information stored maliciously by other programs and the drivers used to run all of the components in the system. There is one place that stores information for all of the above-mentioned things and that is the registry. The registry is essentially a big database that is used by a Windows based computer that stores all of the settings information for a computer. Whenever a computer starts, it goes through the registry to make sure it sets up the system the same way it was when it was turned off. The registry also stores all the information about all the programs installed on the computer.
To prevent errors from happening, such as the BCCode error messages, you can use a program called RegCure to clean out, organize and repair the Windows registry. Doing this will not only improve the speed of the computer, but it can prevent problems like the BCCode error messages from popping up and ruining your computer experience. RegCure can safely and quickly remove any incorrect entries and get you back to what you were doing, safely.
