"Thank you very much for your software! I was experiencing quite a few glitches and my system was freezing so I thought I should check to see if everything was working as it should. I purchased Regservo and ran it. It told me I that I had 212 entries and then it automatically removed them. Thanks to your software, I now have a perfectly running system! Thanks again!"

Error 1000008e Keeps Getting Me!

Error 1000008e is generally what is known as a hardware or memory conflict error. These error messages can happen when a computer is first put together, new hardware is added to the system or when something has happened to any number of critical software programs on the system in question. What the exact error message is that follows Error 1000008e can tell you from where the problem starts.

This error message can happen at almost any time at all when you are doing any number of things on the computer. You could be writing something, surfing the web or playing a video game. When this happens there really isn’t much to do aside from look at the possible causes to see how to fix it.

•    A corruption in the hardware
•    A device driver issue
•    Memory conflict
•    Registry problems

When the reason for the Error 1000008e comes up as being a registry issue, there is a way to restore the computer to a previous state and that is called the Restore Point. You can make a restore point manually in Windows but, generally speaking, for the average computer user, having it done for you is a lot easier.

The registry is essentially a big database that is used by a Windows based computer that stores all of the setting information for a computer. Whenever a computer starts, it goes through the registry to make sure it sets up the system the same way it was when it was turned off. The registry also stores all the information about all the programs installed on the computer.

When your computer boots up it goes through the registry for all the information and data it needs to load up to make the system load up properly and work. If there is something entered wrong in the registry, the system can fail to load and an error message just like Error 1000008e can pop up and ruin the day.

There is a program called RegCure and its main function is to fix errors and mistakes in the registry. When RegCure scans the registry, it removes invalid and useless entries, re-organizes the registry so it works faster and fixes entries that are incorrect which can cause any number of error messages to pop up.

It will not only do that but, it can create a backup of your registry in case a problem arises with the registry in its current state. RegCure can also make a restore point for you so that you can return the computer to a point before Error 1000008e becomes familiar to you.

December 5th, 2008 Geek Posted in Windows Errors 9,316 Comments »

Today’s PC’s are faster, better and have more storage space on them than ever before. The popularity of the Internet have made more and more of the space on a PC’s hard drive cluttered up with useless, forgotten and potentially hazardous things.

Every link you go to on the Internet is stored somewhere on your PC and there are some things that are placed in your PC that you don’t even know about. When you encounter Error 2003 you can’t be sure where it came from, as it could be almost anything that was the cause of the error.

Many of the programs can be completely harmless, but others will make multiple copies of themselves and store information in places you may not know even exists. These programs and entries can cause a multitude of issues on your computer ranging from slow connection speeds, slow system performance all the way up to complete system killers like the dreaded BSoD.

Fortunately, there are many programs out there that are designed to help you keep your system running smoothly so you can avoid that Error 2003 message. One such program is called RegCure and it is designed to keep your PC’s Registry clean, organized and optimized to allow for a much better overall computing experience.

The registry is essentially a big database that is used by a Windows based computer that stores all of the setting information for a computer. Whenever a computer starts, it goes through the registry to make sure it sets up the system the same way it was when it was turned off. The registry also stores all the information about all the programs installed on the computer.

Many times, unwanted information is stored there by websites trying to trick you into something through changing information in your registry. This can lead to a host of problems and errors.

RegCure can go through your system’s registry and clean out all those problematic entries speeding up your computer and making your computer run better than ever before. By re-organizing and optimizing the information stored in the registry, RegCure can speed up your computer’s boot time and prevent malicious programs from putting incorrect and possibly damaging information into your system’s registry.

The next time you come face to face with Error 2003, or almost any other error message where you aren’t sure how to fix it, you may want to take a look at your systems registry to see if the fault lies there.
